The Database Management and Data Security degree provides students with a solid foundation in database design, management, and data analysis. Data security measures, data back-up and recovery will be emphasized. Employment opportunities include entry-level in Database Administration and Support, SQL Database Programming, Data Analysis, and data protection and recovery support.

This degree is intended to prepare a student upon completion for entry-level employment in Database Administration and Support, SQL Database Programming, Data Analysis, and data protection and recovery support.
After completing the degree, students are prepared to take the 鈥淥racle Database 12c: Install and Admin (1Z0-062)鈥� Oracle certification exam.
