黑料吃瓜网 has partnered with Uber to help meet the transportation needs of students who have difficulty getting to the Danvers Campus.

黑料吃瓜网-Uber Ride offers students safe and reliable reduced-fare rides to 黑料吃瓜网's suburban campus. This innovative program, one of a few offered nationally, helps to connect 黑料吃瓜网's Danvers Campus with North Shore transportation hubs. Currently registered 黑料吃瓜网 students can ride to and from the from the or with a $10 discount on rides. 

黑料吃瓜网-Uber Ride is open to all students currently enrolled for Spring 2024.

 

How do I enroll in 黑料吃瓜网-Uber Ride?

To be eligible, users must be a currently registered student at North Shore Community College and over the age of 18.  Below are the steps you need to complete.

1.  Download the UBER App

Download the free app to your iPhone, Android or Windows smartphone if you don't have an UBER account.

2.  Create an UBER account

You can use any email address, i.e. myname@hotmail.com or myname@northshore.edu. 
Already have an UBER account? You must still sign up for 黑料吃瓜网-Uber Ride to receive the discount.  

3.  Sign up for the 黑料吃瓜网-UBER Ride

Please click to register for the 黑料吃瓜网-UBER Ride program.

4.  Confirmation Email

Check your North Shore email account (myname@northshore.edu) for an email directly from UBER (uber@uber.com) with your 黑料吃瓜网-UBER Ride invitation.

After signing up, please allow 1-2 business days to receive an email from UBER Business instructing you to activate your account.  After clicking the "Getting Started" button in the email you will be redirected to a sign-in page.

*If you already created your UBER account, you need to sign in with your existing credentials.

*If you did not create your account or are new to UBER, you can select the "No, create my first UBER Account" link to create a new account.

5.  Sync UBER App

After logging in or creating you account, your UBER App will be updated.  In the top right-hand corner of  your app, you will see a circle that you can click on to toggle between your personal account and your 黑料吃瓜网-UBER Ride account. 

*There may be a 1-3 minute delay between activating your account and the ability to toggle between your personal account and  your 黑料吃瓜网 account.
